Hi, and welcome to my studio! I am a licensed voice therapist, certified vocologist, mental health and trauma informed yoga teacher, and holistic wellness coach.

I am a lifelong singer and view our voices as a reflection of our whole selves.

As a vocalist and survivor of trauma, I have become a lifelong learner of the voice, body, and mind connection. Finding the authentic voice relates to finding alignment, authenticity, resilience, and optimal health.

My hope for all of my clients is that the Live Vocally Method is a truly transformative experience, with a whole person approach to help you unlock the voice that wants to be freed from within.

It is my mission to help those who have been silenced find their voice again through post traumatic growth, and create a life that they love. Are you ready to live vocally? I will compassionately stand by your side along the way. Thank you for trusting me on your courageous journey.

What does it mean to unlock the authentic voice? What does it mean to live vocally?

Unlocking the authentic voice can hold a different meaning for different individuals.

There is no "ideal voice." Every voice is unique, beautiful, and deserves to be heard.

Locking our voices away is a survival instinct. Keeping our voice down is a survival response.

In order to uncover what wants to be transformed, we will begin to visualize our desired state, appreciating the present perfection and all of the possibilities our voice can create.

To live = to be alive, vocal = relating to the human voice, ally = supporter, advocate, helper.

Living Vocally is to share your voice with the world, through finding your breath, finding your joy, and finding yourself. Are you ready to find the power and courage to raise your voice?

"In regards to my specific therapist, Heather Gross, I will tell you she is a hero to the transgender community.  She is so passionate and knowledgeable about feminizing your voice that she made something I was terrified about fun and enjoyable."

-Live Vocally Client

"I thought I would never be able to learn to sing, and in only a few months Heather has managed to teach me what no other instructors could.

Voice comes with no fast miracles, but if you want someone understanding, sensitive, and deeply knowledgeable of the voice--especially trans speaking and singing voices--please seek her out. You will not find someone better."

-Live Vocally Client

"I am so fortunate to work with the professionals I work with, and if I had known I would have the opportunity to work with someone like you, I would not have lived in fear of becoming who I am for all of those years.”

-Live Vocally Client

"You made it possible for me to talk without dysphoria. I no longer dread the need to talk. This is a wonderful gift you give to people like me."

-Live Vocally Client

"The last thing that I will mention about my specific therapist, Heather, is that she truly loves the transgender community."

"I love my new voice!"
